Dave first began teaching in the early 1990’s for Pratt Institute in NY, and has developed graphics and multimedia curriculum for a variety of organizations.
As Director of the Kodak Center for Creative Imaging he expanded their 2d graphics and multimedia curriculum to include 3d animation and digital video and helped implement the curriculum across the Macintosh, Windows and Unix platforms.
Currently he serves as an Assistant Professor in the New Media department of the Maine College of Art and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Maine, where he teaches Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro and After Effects
He also teaches at the Maine Media Workshops and continues to offer consulting and custom training for 2d & 3d graphics and digital video.
